Rezumat | ||||||
The chances our literature will distinguish itself in the world via translations as well as the condition of the Romanian writer always situated „between two worlds” were the subjects of discussions between Ion Miloş and Adrian Dinu Rachieru, a critic from Timisoara, recorded in a book entitled in a suggestive way Durerea de a fi român (The pain of being a Romanian). Ion Miloş, a polyglot poet and translator settled in Sweden, has signed 46 books of poetry and prose written by Romanian writers translated by him in Swedish, French, Serbian-Croatian and Macedonian as well as 21 books of original poetry. |
