Rezumat | ||||||
At present, knowledge of a foreign language is not only an attribute of a person's cultural development, but also a condition for his successful activity in various fields of production. In this regard, the goals and objectives of teaching foreign languages are changing, new concepts and approaches to teaching foreign languages are emerging, new forms and methods of teaching are coming into practice. Teaching a foreign language is a difficult task. Different situations require different learning material, different methodologies, different activities, strategies and approaches. Studying the Russian language for students of non-linguistic specialties may present certain features and requirements. In such cases, curricula usually focus on practical language proficiency in the context of the students professional responsibilities. This article discusses some aspects that can be included in curricula for non-linguistic specialties. These are professional vocabulary, professional communication skills, reading and understanding specialized texts, preparing presentations, cultural aspects, technologies in teaching, etc. It is emphasized that in general, the approach to teaching the Russian language for non-linguistic specialties should be aimed at preparing students for the successful use of the language in their future professional activities. |
