Rezumat | ||||||
The soviet totalitarian regime caused the loss and the distortion of more unique values from monastic architecture thesaurus of Republic of Moldova. Atheistic reasons led to alteration of the original aspect of monastic churches. Although in the past 20 years a great effort has been made by the clergy, central government and the local population to rebuild or reconstruct of Moldovan monastic complexes, however the restoration of
these objects remains a topical issue. This article proposes three case studies of the restoration of Cuselauca Monastery, Harjauca Monastery and Monastery of Suruceni, all three with obvious problems in this compartment. |
