GOOD GOVERNANCE FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE EUROPEAN INTEGRATION
OF THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA In the present article it is examined the relations between the governance and effi ciency of democratic
reforms promoted by the current political class in the Republic of Moldova from the European integration perspective. A special attention is given to the brief analysis of the issue as: „good governance” and its constituent components, to the updating of old social and political cleavages and the need to promote specifi c goals for our country regarding the society’s Europeanization. The author concludes that the quality of governance, as a matter of political power effi - ciency, can be improved by increasing government accountability, by enhancing administrative capacity
of the state and overcoming the permanent crises; so that democracy can become functional and society – prosperous. |
