Rezumat

In the context of a society that is constantly changing and transforming, education needs to take a new perspective on its functioning and development. A complete education, understood in both an affective and instructive sense, can be provided by the school in partnership with other institutions, such as the family. A distinctive feature of the modern school is precisely its openness to change in order to adapt to a changing society. Its capacity is to make genuine connections, forging effective and sustainable partnerships. This article reveals the importance of the school-family partnership in making the educational process more effective. Similarly, in this study we refer to the principles and functions underlying the development of school-family partnerships.
