Limited funding and growing constraints have forced central public administrations to look at different models of public-private partnerships as a means of building and maintaining infrastructure without making large investments. The relevance of implementing public-private partnership models in infrastructure projects is justified by the fact that they create opportunities for the simultaneous involvement of private and public forces, which allows the use of new sources and investment tools. This article is dedicated to the analysis of the main models of public-private partnership implemented at international and national level and of the particularities of the associated infrastructure projects. |
