This article analyses the functioning and lines of research of the Presdeia Chair at the Rey Juan Carlos University. This chair is directed by Professor José Manuel Azcona, Professor of Contemporary History, and is made up of a number of top researchers. It also describes the publications that have been carried out over the last few years in different areas. Finally, part of this article is devoted to political violence, as this discipline is an important focus of the Chair. In it, resources are devoted to the maintenance of the memory of the victims of terrorism in Spain and the elements of connection between different armed organizations from other parts of Europe and Latin America are analyzed. |
