<description xml:lang='en' descriptionType='Abstract'>Article 2 of the Moldovan Criminal Code stipulates the social values which are protected by the national criminal
law. The attempt on one or another value is a crime. According to the national criminal legislation the object of the
crime is a part of the criminal component. Depending on the object of the crime one can make a difference between
criminal components; it contributes to a correct criminal qualification and determines the severity of the criminal
punishment.</description>
