The purpose of this study is to present an overview of the historical, architectural and memorial heritage of Dubăsarii-Vechi village in Criuleni district. On the territory of the locality are the following objectives of national importance: the church of St. Arch. Mihail (year of construction 1861); the mansion of the family of the astrophysicist Nicolae Donici, honorary member of the Romanian Academy and the recently renovated bust of the scientist; the Macri family vault designed and built according to the project of the architect A. Bernardazzi in 1882–1883. Also, a native of the village of Dubăsarii-Vechi was the linguist academic Haralambie Corbu, whose name the Primary School in the locality bears. Several objectives of historical and architectural value require capital repair, authentic restoration, which will allow the inclusion of these monuments in national and international tourist routes, contributing to the promotion and sustainable development of the community.
