The work includes 131 species of coleoptera, which belong to 84 genera and 15 families. Of these, 71 species are associated with dead wood. One family (Biphyllidae), two genera (Biphyllus and Bothrideres) and 3 species (Biphyllus lunatus (Fabricius, 1792), Bothrideres bipunctatus (Gmelin, 1790) and Mycetina cruciata (Schaller, 1783)) are new to the fauna of the Republic of Moldova, while 18 species are identified in the Orhei National Park for the first time. The work represents an inventory of edaphic and saproxylic coleoptera species collected from the forest ecosystems of the Orhei National Park between 2007-2020 and January-March 2023. |
