Rezumat

Energies of the ground state and of the excited states of an acceptor in a wire-like cylindrical heterostructure are calculated as a function of the cylinder radius R. When deriving the acceptor energy spectrum, the electrostatic potential for a cylindrical quantum wire is used. The interaction between a hole and the different kinds of phonons is taken into account. Resonant states of the bound hole polaron are studied.
