Scopul articolului nostru este de a identifica expresiilor metaforice în discursurile preşedintelui Richard von Weizsäcker (1984 – 1994) (în total 23 discursuri) care scot în evidenţă identitatea naţională şi corelaţia dintre acestea. Ne-am axat în special pe metaforele care au ca domeniu concret “inima” şi “rădăcinile”.

The goal of this article is to identify the metaphorical expressions in the discourses of Richard von Weizsäcker (1984 – 1994) (together 23) that emphasize the national identity and their correlation. We highlighted especially the metaphors that have as concrete domain the words “heart” and “roots”.
