The integration of the principle of environmental justice into the international human rights system has been achieved through the idea of the right to a healthy environment. In the present, there are constant concerns at the international level for the regulation of the right to a healthy environment as a fundamental human right. By imposing itself as a right of the third generation, the right to the environment is not only a “fashionable” legal institution, but has found important reasons in the social and economic reality of the world today. The article examines the manifestation of the right to a healthy environment and its regulation in EU, which appears to have significant legal consequences. |
