The paper presents data on the variability of productivity characters (plant height, length of the main spike, number of spikelet per spike, number of grains, weight of grains per spike and weight per 1000 grains). The analysis of the productivity characters of the studied lines revealed a high variability regarding the number of grains, the weight of grains per spike and the weight of 1000 grains. Under the severe drought conditions, this year the yield of the lines in the control field varied widely from 0.3 to 2.8 t/ha. The harvest of the control variety was 1.2 t/ha. The 10 lines with a high resistance to drought were selected. Through factor analysis of the sources of variability in the case of 4 genotypes of durum wheat, it was established that for the characters under study the main weight in the source of variation returned to the environmental conditions of the year which varied within the limits of 56.1-98.0% |
