This paper shows, based on the author’s recent field materials (mainly 2022; pilot studies were carried out in 2011–2014), that wedding rituals among the Old Believers of the Republic of Moldova, including in the city of Edinet, have retained many of their features, although, of course, it is also undergoing changes, which have become accelerated in recent decades. In the process of surveys, information was mainly obtained for the period from the second half of the 20th century to the present, until the beginning of the 20s. XXI century, however, many informants provided information about an earlier time, based on the memories of the stories of their older relatives. The paper presents the features of both the pre-wedding period and the various stages of the wedding of the Old Believers in Edinet.
