The article "Gagauzians - deputies of Sfatul Tseriy 1917-1918: Mikhail Russev (1882-1926), Dmitry Topchu (1887-1958), Ivan Kara and their fate" highlights the fate of the Gagauz deputies of "Sfatul Tseriy" ("Regional Council") provides evidence of the participation of the Gagauz in political events in Bessarabia in 1917-1918, as well as the concern of representatives of the Gagauz intelligentsia about the fate of their people. The article analyzes a little-studied topic related to political processes in the Gagauz villages of South Bessarabia and the involvement of residents of the Gagauz villages of Bessarabia in this activity. In the work of "Sfatul Tsarii" psticipated as follows: teacher M.M. Russev, delegated from the agricultural cooperatives of the south of Bessarabia, one of the authors of the political memorandum, where he defended the rights of the citizens of Bessarabia against the arbitrariness of the Romanian troops in Bessarabia and against the unification of Bessarabia with Romania; lawyer D.G. Topchu, before the revolution of 1917 he served as the head of supply of the Bendery Zemstvo Council, after the revolution he became a deputy of Sfatul tsarii in 1917-1918, and in the 1920s he joined the National Agrarian Party. Another deputy of "Sfatul Tsarii" was a well-known politician in Budzhak, the vowel of the Bendery district zemstvo I.A. Kara. The activities of the Gagauz deputies "Sfatul Carii" were consistent with the program of the participants of the II Bessarabian provincial peasant congress in January 1918 in Chisinau, who opposed the land program proposed by "Sfatul Carii". During this period, the armed resistance of the inhabitants of Bessarabia began against the Romanian occupation of Bessarabia. After the annexation of Bessarabia to Romania, General Voitoyanu read out the decree of the King of Romania on the dissolution of Sfatul Tarii.
