Rezumat | ||||||
With the coming to power of Nicolae Ceaușescu on August 21, 1965, he produced a series of changes regarding Romania’s leadership. Nicolae Ceaușescu took full advantage of his popularity both in the country and abroad. By coming to power, the President of the Socialist Republic of Romania wanted to produce a change from all points of view, a change that would remain in history. This absurd and uncontrollable desire had a particularly powerful effect on the Church, its ministers and believers. Unfortunately, the hatred against those who professed Christ and loved the truth, also spread to those from Olt and Romanati County. |
