Rezumat

Currently, the continuous promotion and ensuring of equal opportunities between women and men in all spheres of human life, including in the field of labor relations, is becoming more and more visible, both at the international and at the national level. This fact is confirmed by the multiple initiatives in the field, undertaken by international organizations, by the approval of various normative acts and strategic documents. In general, equal opportunities between women and men is a concept that involves ensuring equality of rights and opportunities for women and men in the multitude of existing social relationships, including within labor relationships, by eliminating all social barriers that affect their achievement. The very content of the concept of human development advocates equal opportunities for women and men in all areas of life - economically, socially, culturally and politically. It opposes discrimination against women, violations of their rights and specific dangers to them – for example, personal safety, domestic violence or sexual harassment at work, etc.
