In the countries of Central and Eastern Europe,including the Republic of Molodva, as a result of the multiplication of acts of corruption, there have been serious violations of civil rights and freedoms, the standard of living has dropped dramatically in some countries, social tensions are generated by economic injustices. The economic situation in the Republic of Moldova has worsened following two events: the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine. However, on March 3, 2022 the President of the Republic of Moldova signed the country’s application for the membership in the European Union. |
