The high degree of land use in the Republic of Moldova as a whole, and in the Northern Development Region, in particular, imposes the need to appreciate the quality of the environment and the characteristics of the anthropogenic pressure on landscapes in spatial dynamics. In the same conditions, it is necessary to identify an adequate system of measures in order to maintain /restoring the structure and optimal functioning of landscape systems. Based on the data of the Land Registry, bibliographic and cartographic information sources was assessed a system of indicators (naturality index, landscapes artificialization and the index of environmental changes). This paper analyzes the spatial distribution of the coefficient ecological stability (Ces) in the North Development RegionThe values of the Ces coefficient of the landscapes were statistically processed and were developed cartographic models using GIS techniques.
