Rezumat | ||||||
The disorientation of the science of international affairs in the end of the Cold War and in the period that followed was due to several factors, including: not been determined scientifically the Cold War's end in a way that took place, meaning peacefully and without to be generally recognized as the winner; the several issues that have headlines of government policies, scientific research and statement by the public opinion have become history, losing the timeliness and relevance; some aspects of international relations that have been considered remained the object of history came back on the world stage under the new conditions, updated the potential and marked their character and development; have appeared some new problems and circumstances that are unknown or little known in the past, but were amplified, seriously complicated the explanation and the understanding of policies and processes in the international arena. |
