Rezumat

This article is focused on the motivation of the teachers‘ professional work. The theory of Maslow‘s hierarchy of needs, which the author‘s analysis is based on, enables managers of educational institutions recognize the motivation of employees - their needs, in order to build an effective system to further promote their work, to achieve personal goals as well as the goals of the institution in general.
