Fines are one of the main tools for regulating the use and protection of the components of biodiversity and natural ecosystems. The main topics analyzed in this study are: the legal framework on sanctions for violations of legislation on the use and protection of biodiversity; the application of fines and other forms of sanctions in the field of biodiversity in the Northern Region of the Republic of Moldova; identifying and evaluating the trends, achievements and difficulties of applying and improving the contravention sanction in this field. |
