Studies show that work-family conflict is a source of considerable distress for both employees and the organization (cf. Lourel et al., 2009), affects the subjective well-being of employees and result in mostly negative emotions (cf. Ilies, 2012). Even if not completely acknowledged, this type of conflict seems to be a generalised phenomenon experienced both by women and men, whether married or not. |
