Rezumat

Air pollution is the most serious problem, as it has short-, medium- and long-term effects. The quality status of the atmosphere is highlighted by the presentation of the impact pollution with different pollutants, the quality of the atmospheric precipitations, the situation of the atmospheric ozone, the dynamics of the greenhouse gas emissions and some manifestations of climate change. Evaluation of the current state of atmospheric air quality in the territory of the EMERALD site „Hancesti Fores” was made on the basis of available data and information, as well as the dynamic monitoring of its quality. Thus, it was established that in the ecotone area of the EMERALD site „Hancesti Forest” are registered about. 200 targets with a direct impact on air quality, including emissions exceeding 350 tonnes/year. It has been established that the level of emissions from these sources falls within the ceilings set out in the Gothenburg Protocol to stopacidification, eutrophication and ground-level ozone to the Convention on Long-Range Transboundary Air Pollution (LRTAP Convention). Analysis of the data obtained on the content of acidifying oxides (NOX) and (SO3 + aerosols SO42-) shows values between 3-6 μg/m3, respectively, which does not cause a significant impact on the forest ecosystems in the study area, since the limit concentration (LC) for forest vegetation is set at the level of 30 μg/m3. Mineralization of the waters from the precipitation reached values between 39 and 77 mg/dm3, and the pH of the investigated waters varied between 5.32 - 6.8.
