Rezumat

The article discusses some aspects of Soviet commemorative politics monumental sculptures in Moldova during 40-80 in the last century. It should be noted that in these years in the MSSR was carried out contrary to the commemorative politics national interests of local residents, hundreds raised here, along with those in honor of the Soviet military glory, more than a thousand sites that had nothing to do with the history and culture of Bessarabia. In connection with the democratization of political life in the USSR, in 1988 the Ministry of Culture of the Moldavian SSR was the status of a project called "The plan to erect a monument for the period until 2000." During more than two months before the project was discussed in the media and meeting creative people, which were put forward opinions and criticisms to submit project proposals to include new elements. During the discussion, most speakers rejected the plan because most of the monuments which were to be set in the country until 2000, as in previous years, were related to the history of Russia or the Soviet Union.
