Rezumat

The phytosanitary situation in Moldovan sunflower fields in association with the climate conditions and applied agronomic practices was analyzed. Comparative analysis of agricultural practices (date of sowing, observance of rotation and succession of rotating crops, type and amount of component nitrogen fertilizers) applied in 34 farms in various parts of the country (including 17 infected and 17 noninfected) denotes practices that favor infection, namely: the return of the sunflower on the same land in less than 5 years, the use of larger quantities of mineral-nitrogen fertilizers.
