Rezumat

Using sludge is a problem stringency. Recovery of agricultural systems that meet two objectives simultaneously: plants (crops) using mineral nutrients in sludge and purify soil treated with heavy metals and other contaminants. The aim of the experiment was to investigate the effects of fertilization with sludge obtained from the municipal wastewater treatment: plant productivity and nutritional quality of forage Silphium perfoliatum species. The experiment involved the following treatments: control without fertilizer and sludge application dose of 50 t/ha. Before establishing the species Silphium perfoliatum L. in the Republic of Moldova is characterized by stable and high productivity due to fertilization with sludge, feed produced has increased content of crude protein, crude fat, non-nitrogenous extractive substances and diminish essential raw cellulose, which can act benefi cial physiological status and productivity of animals. Biomass of this species can become a reliable source of renewable energy production.
