ECHR case law on fundamental rights during the Covid-19 pandemic. In order to cope with the health crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic that ravaged the world for almost two years, the affected states have been forced to implement measures that have infringed many human rights. In some cases, those affected have gone to court in their home countries, and even reached the European Court of Human Rights. Most of these cases relate to violations of the right to health, to privacy or to the conditions of detention. This paper aims to analyze some of the most significant cases that have reached the ECHR in connection with the Covid-19 pandemic. |
