The article “Sociological research methodology of migration: peculiarities and perspectives” presents the analysis of methods applied in different studies realized on migration of Moldovan population. The author indicates that the research on migration is a subject of interest of go-vernmental and international institutions considering the amplitude and social implications of the phenomenon. The research indicators used by the author are conceptualization, research methods, instruments, the innovative aspects. One of conclusions of this paper consists in there no a unique measurement instruments since the migration is multispectral phenomenon that affect different persons and sphere.
