Aim. Evaluation of Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection in lung damage in children of different ages with community pneumonia. Methods. The study was performed on 958 children with bronchitis, pneumonia (age 3 months – 18 years) hospitalized in the pulmonology department of the Mother and Child Institute during 2019-2020. Immunological examination for the presence of IgM and IgG antibodies (Ac) to Mycoplasma pneumonia was performed by ELISA test with the assessment of the confidence interval and statistical significance. Results. Immunological examination for the presence of IgM Ac to Mycoplasma pneumonia yelded the following results: out of 178 children 3-12 months of age, 7.9% were confirmed positive: 95CI 4.4-12.9 children; out of 191 children aged 1-3 years old, specific diagnosis of Ac were confirmed in 20 children (10.5%: 95CI 6.5-15.7); out of 124 children aged 3-7 years old, 31.5% were confirmed: 95CI 23.4-40.4 positive children, and the highest frequency was found in children 7-18 years old-out of 75 children examined presented 40% diagnostic titer: 95CI 28.9-52 children. Immunological examination of IgG Ac to Mycoplasma pneumonia performed in 182 children aged 3-12 months of age confirmed the presence in 12 children (6.6%: 95CI 3.5-11.2). In 194 children aged 1-3 years old, the presence of anti-Mycoplasma IgG Ac was confirmed in 13.4%: 95CI 8.9-19 cases. In 129 preschool children (3-7 years) examined this Ac was found in 29 children (22.5%: 95CI 15.6-30.7). The highest share of children with a diagnosis of antimycoplasmic IgG was in 38 schoolchildren 7-18 years of age - 39.2%: 95CI 29.4-49.6 (χ2=51.2, p<0.001). Conclusion. Respiratory infections with Mycoplasma pneumoniae are much more common in children of preschool (31.5%) and school-age (40%) with diseases confirmed by the presence of IgM Ac (χ2=58.9, p<0.001) and IgG Ac in diagnostic titer in preschoolers 22.5% and 39.3% schoolchildren (χ2 = 51.2, p <0.001). |

Пневмонии с Mycoplasma pneumoniae гораздо чаще встречаются у детей дошкольного (31,5%) и школьного (40%) возраста, подтвержденными наличием IgM Aт (χ2=58,9, p<0,001) и IgG Aт в диагностическом титре у дошкольников 22,5% и 39,3% у школьников (χ2=51,2, p<0,001)</p></dc:description> <dc:source>Buletin de Perinatologie 91 (2) 41-44</dc:source> <dc:subject>Mycoplasma pneumoniae</dc:subject> <dc:subject>children</dc:subject> <dc:subject>community pneumonia</dc:subject> <dc:subject>Mycoplasma pneumonia</dc:subject> <dc:subject>ребёнок</dc:subject> <dc:subject>пневмония</dc:subject> <dc:title>Infecția cu Mycoplasma pneumoniae la copiii cu pneumonie comunitară</dc:title> <dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/article</dc:type> </oai_dc:dc>
