| Rezumat | ||||||
This article is focused on some conceptual aspects of the nationalism’s phenomenon in
the western theory and practice. A special remark is given to the examination of different types
of nationalism and to the relationship between the democracy, modernization and nationalism,
emphasizing the specifics of etnonationalism. These and other problems are researched in the
context of democratic transition of the NIS on the background of ex-USSR’s collapse.
