Rezumat

The present study started from the premise that man must be approached holistically: material body and spiritual soul, with all its features: reason, conscience, free will, feelings. In such a context, the connection between mind and soul can be attributed to the tandem of creativity - education (formation of moral character). Approached from an educational perspective, the family is the first school of life, the foundation in becoming the human being, conditioning the solidity of any subsequent construction. On such a solid foundation, it is known, we can rise as much as we can, without the edifice collapsing. Parents are the first teachers, who have a great socio-human responsibility and whose education leaves its mark, sometimes for a lifetime because the children imitate them absolutely in everything thanks to a sincere love, they have for them. In the moral formation of the child, the most important starting point is the family, with all the good parts that can emanate from it, but also with all the negative aspects that a family in moral disorientation can provide. The family is the environment from which the child absorbs the first impressions and feelings. The family exerts a particularly profound influence on the children, constituting a reservoir of models that it offers to the little ones, for which all the acts and deeds of the elderly constitute models to follow. The educational involvement of the family is defined as a set of activities that parents carry out in order to support, directly or indirectly, the process of educating children and forming their character.
