The influence of the millimeter waves on the physiological tremor of the distal segments of the locomotor system was studied for the group of 23 elderly persons. Amplitude and frequency of the physiological tremor were tested during the recoding computer analysis of the distal hands phalanx vibration. The spectral energy of the oscillation (POWER ), peak power frequency (FMX), the peak power (PMAX), the percent of oscillation with maximal energy (%PMAX), the mean power frequency (MPF), average power (PAVER) and the percent of oscillation with medial energy (%PAVER) were appreciated by means of Fourier analysis. The application of millimeter waves generators contributed to the decrease of amplitude of the physiological tremor among 65% tested persons, diminishing the spectral energy
(POWER), peak power frequency (FMX) and average power (PAVER) by 32,7%, 45,4% and 51,4% respectively. |
