The changes occurred in a national and international context, in recent years, have resized the motivations Moldovan migrants in Italy. They were adopted more restrictive amendments at the legislation on residence permit in Italy. It was registered a worsening labor market conditions, a decrease in employment and a descent level of salaries. On the other hand, liberalization of visa regime for traveling to European countries caused changes in migration processes aimed the citizens of Moldova. During this period, has grown the circular migration, the temptation to change the migration country, has increased internal mobility of immigrants and, to a smaller extent, the return migration. The research study aimed the socio-economic aspects of integration process of Moldovan citizens in Italy, including those involved in migration flows in the last 3-4 years, analysis of data in accordance with age groups, employment levels, activity sector, employment by gender etc. Evolution of foreign remittances and variation of the number of small and medium companies, founded by Moldovan migrants in Italy, the impact of signing / interruption of employment contracts are relevant in the context of studying the stabilization phase of the Moldovan community in Italy. Qualitative research was complemented by quantitative study. Official statistics confirm the new trends of migration processes aimed Moldovan citizens and complement the analytical framework. In this research, have been applied the comparative, analytical, statistical, systemic methods.
