Research goal was to refine the method to estimate the degree days in order to increase precision of codling moth forecast model. Have been developed a method for calculating the degree days for prognosis codling moth population dynamic. Cutoff method allows establishing more precise dynamic of the populations of harmful insects. This method takes into account deviations from the temperature threshold of development of diurnal variations of both the early spring temperatures and summer heat when the hot seat with extreme negative development, which lead to decreasing errors and fairer predict biological events. The cutoff method of STE estimation provide higher precision of expected events. |
