Rezumat

In this scientific approach we talk about the "green" human resources management, as a new dimension in terms of approaching employees in organizations. The environmental problems that have become much more evident in recent decades, caused by human resources have reached senior management of organizations in terms of consequences for future generations, in the absence of concrete actions that would stop or reduce environmental degradation. Thus, in order to be aware of the problem, human resources specialists within organizations have become more interested and concerned with this issue, by implementing environmental elements in the functions and activities of human resources management. In this context, the paper presents the importance of this new dimension of human resource management for the sustainable development of society, as well as the responsibility of organizational management on educating its employees in terms of environmental issues. This, in fact, has led to the development of the new dimension, namely the "green" human resources management.
