Rezumat

The aim of the investigation was the utilization of modified diatomites and bentonites from Moldova for As (III) and As (V) adsorption from water solution. Were determined that As (III) is adsorbed more effective by modified Aluminum diatomite in the comparison with liming. The pH does not impact on the As (III) sorption. The extraction range of As (V) depends on the fraction size of sorbent and pH value. Liming bentonite extracts more effective As (V) in the comparison of As (III). The better arsenic extraction from complex water solution will be in the case of consecutive utilization of sorbents with selective properties.
