Rezumat | ||||||
The article presents the situation of school abandonment at European, national and county level, as well as strategies for prevention and control of the phenomenon, such as: Europe 2020 Strategy, programs developed at county level, the need to prevent school dropout and the consequences of this phenomenon among young people. Romania's education and training strategy for 2014-2020 aims to reduce early school leaving in education and training systems, which should reach below 10% and at least 95% of children between the age of four and the age for compulsory enrollment at primary school should benefit from preschool education. The risk and supportive factors of the phenomenon are mentioned, outlining the trajectory of our country in pursuing the approach of the European Union. |
