In the science of constitutional law it is considered that a republic is a form of government more democratic than monarchy, and the president of a republic is usually a sign of democracy, due to the fact that the sovereign power belongs to people who exercise it through the authority even chosen by him. Depending on the way the supreme bodies are formed, the head of state, in particular, the state shall be classified in the Republic: presidential, semi-presidential, parliamentary and a special regime of meeting. |
