In this article, the authors highlighted the peculiarities of the legal nature of the store which is becoming a more and more current theme and is of particular interest to natural and legal persons practicing entrepreneurial activities due to the market economy. In the Republic of Moldova there is a need to improve the legislation in force that regulates different varieties of contracts and the process of their implementation. The authors, through their researches, have demonstrated the correlation between different aspects of the legal nature of the store contract, analyzing the store receipts that are considered to be novelty in the country’s legislation. Thus, by carrying out a complex investigation of the specialized literature, both historical and contemporary, the legislation in force creates a concept of this law institution, highlighting the peculiarities and specific characters, being also a scientific novelty. As a result of this analysis they formulate their own visions, as well as a number of interesting conclusions.
