This article summarizes the ideas that many authors have expressed about the meaning, content and benefits of personal development – as the experience and purpose of human existence. And the key terms from which started the scientific conception of personal development can be generalized as follows: called individualization by C. Jung; the tendency of self-actualization proposed by C. Rogers; the need for selfactualization, in A. Maslow ‚s view; the psycho synthesis process, in assertion of R. Assagioli; the fulfillment of the self, in the Mental Map –Personal Development, the approach of M. Caluschi, the continuous, practical process of self-restructuration, mentioned by I. Mitrofan. |
