Rezumat

Teaching and learning a foreign language is a complex of tasks including many skills need to be acquired. All skills (speaking, writing, reading, listening and using grammar correctly) must be developed equally at the same time. In the past most language teachers tended to teach grammatical rules dominantly and language teaching and learning process started with studying grammar. In this case, learning grammar rules sounded very difficult and learners felt anxious about making mistakes in grammar. As a result students learned grammar a lot but weren’t able to speak and write. For beginner EFL learners, speaking and writing (productive process) without grammar mistakes is almost impossible. In order not to discourage students in learning language with grammar, teachers should be careful with giving grammar rules. The authors share experiences the ways to give grammar easier.
