This article covers the issue of treating the form of the future in some of the casual French language or of the French language as a foreign tongue, the classification of these usages in temporal and modals and also the criteria of this classification, pragmatic, stylistic or even emotional. The author notices that they only weak spot in separating future temporal/future modal resides from the underestimation of the role played by the three declarative categories, Temporality, Aspectuality and Modality, in the future’s functioning, the tight bondage that exists between them and also the fact that they are being updated to the phrase’s level, or the context in whole. To the basis value of the future, of a projected process, one can add the discontinuity feature or the detachment from the declaration moment; temporality, aspectuality and modality of the future form an integer whole and can manifest in different phrases with different intensity.
