Rezumat

The main resources of Small and Medium Enterprises (IMMs) are the following: financial, corporeal, human and informational resources. Within the new knowledge based society, human resources are the organization’s strategic resources. Both the organization’s success as well as its competitive level start from the requisite that human resources are the organization’s most valuable asset. This resource must be stimulated and involved in achieving the organization’s goals. Following this, the managerial decisions in the human resources field always must be adapted to the employees’ personalities and particularities. The hereby study undertakes to analyze the stimulating possibilities in the human resources field within the Small and Medium Enterprises, based on an enquiry carried out in 112 companies, the specimen being made up of approximately equal parts of micro-enterprises (35%), small enterprises (31,67%) and middle sized enterprises (33,33%). These IMMs belong to all eight development areas and cover all activity sectors.
