This study is a qualitative review of the history of mathematics education in Moldova. A brief historical overview of the teaching and learning of mathematics in Europe and USA in the 20th century is made. We consider the development of the didactics in mathematics in Romania and Moldova and identified some problems of the mathematical education in the Republic of Moldiva. |
