The article is dedicated to the activity of a prominent personality of science from the former MSSR, Iachim S. Grosul - remarkable scientist and pedagogue, who during the founding of the State University of Moldova was the dean of the Faculty of History, then, after the transition to the head of the Moldovan Branch of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, remained for a decade head of department at the Faculty of History. The researches in the National Archive of the Republic of Moldova, but also of the IachimGrosul Fund from the Academy of Sciences Archive led to the identification of new materials, which substantially complete the period of activity of IachimGrosul at the State University of Moldova. |
