In the article, based on the middle term population projections for the Republic of Moldova three scenarios of the evolution of the population according to the possible changes of the natality are shown. The evolution of the natality, the major age groups(children, adults, old population), the age dependency ratio, population aging characteristics are analyzed.The recommendations about the improvement of the demographic situation in the Republic of Moldova
are formulated. |
