The invoked sources clearly attest that until the 7th decade of the 19th century the priests from the Bessarabian churches used the religious book printed in Romanian in the cities of Wallachia and Transylvania, although several authors from the 19th century wrote that they were printed in the "Moldovan language". This state of affairs, in turn, attests that the authors of the 19th century recognized the identity of the Romanian language and the "Moldovan language". In other words, the Romanian language used by priests in the Romanian Orthodox Church in the three Romanian countries was unique, the church language was one and the same in Bucharest and Râmnic (Wallachia), and in Blaj and Sibiu (Transylvania), and in the Bessarabian villages Saharna, Abaclâdjaba, Susleni, Batâr etc. The use of church books printed in Wallachia and Transylvania in Bessarabia also denies the myth of the existence of a "Moldovan language" distinct from the Romanian language in Wallachia and Transylvania, on the contrary, it demonstrates the unity of the Romanian language. Romanian - was a unique Romanian liturgical language heard by Romanian believers in Wallachia, Transylvania, Moldova between the Prut and the Carpathians and Bessarabia. |
