Rezumat

The case study of the article starts from a comparative analysis of the integration of different economic spaces, aiming to demonstrate the economic conditions, the need to adopt immigration policies, the possible consequences of migration and remittances globally. Migration is about both, emigrants and immigrants, security and insecurity. It has an important impact on each dimension of security, especially on the psycho-social one. Now, the entire world is confronting not only the problem of emigrants, who weaken the human resource of their countries of origin, but also the issue of immigrants as a source of insecurity. Immigration is about discrimination, marginalization and cheap labor force, concomitant with rising productivity and living conditions. These problems are analyzed by focusing on some EU countries such as Italy and Spain, as destination countries, and Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia and Romania, as root countries. These issues are complex and difficult to manage due to the fact that both the immigrants and the country’s citizens are subjected to human rights.
